You are a walking man! You walk all the time and you are getting so good at it!

You had your 12 month check up on Monday. You weigh 22 lbs. 4oz. and you are 30 inches long. You say things like "ma ma", "da da", "hi", "ba" for bath, and you wave goodbye. You smack your lips when you are hungry. You have 2 teeth on the bottom and your two top teeth are about halfway down.

You are awesome and I just love you more and more every day!!! 

Avery's birthday was on Tuesday and you seemed to enjoy her ice cream cake more than you enjoyed your cupcake. Good to know!

 This was your heavenly cupcakes. They were so good! We did rainbow coloring and yummy buttercream frosting.

 It started off well. You enjoyed being sung to and were intrigued by the flame of the candle.

 You began breaking it into pieces.

 You made quite a mess trying to obliterate it.

 And when we tried to get you to eat some, you didn't like it.

In fairness, you didn't have an afternoon nap that day so you were already pretty tired.

 You received a dump truck from Omi and Poppy.

March 2016

 We went on a trip to the Lufkin Ellen Trout Zoo with our friends the Wilsons.

 In March, Avery, you and I flew to California for Time Out for Women. You did a great job on your first flight.

 You are such a cute boy! You loved watching the planes out the window when we were boarding the plane.

 Here we are in Oma & Opa's backyard in Thousand Oaks, California.
